Some there are part time, full time, agents that only work from 9 to 3 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. There are luxury real estate agents and ones that only sell time shares. One of the most important things when choosing your Realtor is the ability to not only respect your agent because they will be advising you on things you may disagree with but you will need to face a harsh reality that you need to at least consider their advise. When you are interviewing buyer or listing agents you need to know you will be spending a great amount of time with them. You will be spending a lot of your Saturdays and Sundays looking at homes or talking to them all the time to get feedback from them about potential buyers waling through your home. I am a firm believer in choosing an agent who works for you and with you. Don’t choose an agent based solely on experience. Although it’s good to have, it’s not everything. You will be spending a lot of time with that agent and you need to mesh. Choose someone friendly and real. Choose for you, not for the house. Choose someone good at talking and negotiating
