Georgetown, Colorado is a great area to live if you would like to be closer to the ski resorts. I caution my clients that traffic coming in can get pretty heavy at times. I would not recommend living in Georgetown if you are commuting east. Alot of the properties are older and have small lots. That area seems to get some heavier snowfall as well. Guess that would explain why the ski resorts are in that area. I recommend to my clients to buy in Conifer or Evergreen you get a bigger lot and it is an easy access to 285 and down the hill or even Bailey.
